Tools

We are guided by our mission to empower local communities in developing healthy youth initiatives which will, in turn, reduce the number of youths at risk for involvement in the juvenile justice system.

The TOOLS section is devoted to informational materials, instructional videos, and other supporting literature that will become part of the final OTOK TOOLS FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT toolkit.

The toolkit will be developed as we engage communities in western Kansas in study circles – designed to enhance collaboration, increase knowledge and awareness, and deliver data-based skills to inform local decision-making. General categories include:

  • Communication and collaboration
  • What communities need to know about juvenile justice
  • At the table:  Study circles as community empowerment
  • Issues and expertise
  • Researching us
  • Stories and Studies
