The idiom of “Your words become your actions” predates modern civilization. If you grew up in the church, you might have been told “Whatsoever you sow, that you will also reap.”
A pragmatic version goes something like, “We are what we think, even as the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.”
And Buddha is credited with “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.”
Whatever origin might ring true to you (and there are many more), the principle connected to Study Circle 4 is that we move from talking about our goals to organizing them into action plans.
