We are proud to provide the 2020 Final Report & OTOK Toolkit, culminating from the two-year pilot project, Our Town Our Kids! The aim was to develop a comprehensive, scalable set of tools to improve outcomes for area youth through juvenile justice improvement or other system intervention. The initiative included two partner sites in western Kansas, one rural/frontier and the other a mix of rural and commercial areas with a highly diverse population.
As we recount the two-year journey with our partners in western Kansas, we find ourselves considering the context in which this report materialized. We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the peculiar and tumultuous time within which we completed the OTOK project. The year 2020 brought extraordinary challenges, some of which cannot be ignored in understanding how we navigated the OTOK pathway and the production of this report. Please check out the Preface for more about these unprecedented times.
As you prepare to enter the full report, please check out the short tutorial provided here. The video will walk you through various options in accessing the report and toolkit.
